Dealing with impacts of COVID-19 on society has led to improved isolation, anxiety, depression and anxiety for most young adults. In reality, an overwhelming majority of school students (85 percent ) are experiencing increased anxiety and/or stress during those tough times.

Family ethos supports achievement
Following a glowing report in June of this year by Ofsted Inspectors judging Rhyn Park School to be a ‘good’ school with a strong family ethos, the Head Teacher is pleased to be able to announce that GCSE results are up from last year.
First ‘all through’ school event
St Martins School hosted its’ first ‘all through’ school event on Thursday 15 November. Staff, students , parents and governors took part in a torch lit procession from the primary department through to the secondary department.

Feedback from Uniform Forum Meeting
Thank you to all the parents, students ,staff and governors who attended the uniform forum meeting on Wednesday 30 October. Ms Lovecy explained that following the Winter Fayre event, Review Day at the secondary school and Student Council meetings the favoured colour combination was purple (mix of ‘Ifton Heath’ blue and ‘Rhyn Park’ red) and black.
Science Revision Cancelled

Parents Evening – Year 7
School will be hosting the final parents evening of the year on Thursday 6 October. Students will need to make appointments with members of staff and record these in their planners. Can we ask that parents check planners regularly to see that appointments are being made.

School re-opens on Wednesday 5 October. Students are reminded that they should arrive in school promptly in time for the first bell at 8.35am wearing the correct full uniform and with their school equipment.
